How difficult is this....but here goes, we've all had to do it! I'm usually described as being funny (I presume they don't mean peculiar!)and good company.I love being with people who have a witty and dry sense of humour and who don't take themselves too seriously. Thoughtfulness, honesty, compassion and kindness are also qualities I admire. I'm a social person but also happy with my own company. I'm fairly independent but have never subscribed to strident feminism, rather believing that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar! Love the countryside but also love the buzz of beautiful cities.

I lived in Jersey for many years, since returning to the UK, I've found building a social network quite hard, so after many months of procrastination, I decided to do something about it.

I enjoy the Arts, music, culture and theatre, but I'm also happy having a chilled glass of wine and good food in a country pub or a chilled glass of wine with a good book to read...or just a chilled glass of wine! I love animals and I am passionate about the environment but I respect other people's viewpoints. To sum up, I'm looking to meet friends and like-minded people. If something more happens then that is a bonus.
