How Do I Register, Place Personal Ad/s And Create My
Free Profile ?

Step 1. Your Basic Profile
These questions are compulsory with the exception of 'Your Town/City If Not
Selected'. This can be left blank if you have selected 'Your Town/City' from
the drop down box.
Note: When selecting 'Your Country' this page will automatically
refresh but retains your selected information.
a) Make sure you have selected your correct gender (are you Male or Female?)
b) Are all question/fields completed?
c) When clicking the 'Continue' button you are certifying that
you are 18 years old or over and confirms that you have read and agreed to accept
NewFriends4U terms and conditions of service.
Note: Your email address and surname is always hidden.
We make a promise to you that we will never pass this information on to a third
party. Your email address is required so we and our members can communicate
with you via our system and your surname may help us to search for your profile and personal ads.
Please make sure your email address is correct or we will be unable to process
your registration.
Step 2. Your Personal Information
We recommend you complete all the question on this screen, especially
if you are placing a 'Someone Special Ad' as members searching criteria using
our 'Power Search' facility may not find you.
Note: Leaving this page blank will reduce the amount of contacts
received from other members searching, however you can go to 'My Profile Options',
log on, and complete at a later time.
Click 'Next'.
Step 3. Select Personal Ads Required and Selecting Your
Categories
1) For your Personal Ad to be accepted onto our site please ensure you read
and information provided in the blue box at the top of the page.
2) Select your categories: Only select and click the appropriate box/s for the
Personal Ad(s) you wish to place. This will produce the appropriate boxes where
you can place your personal Ad/s at the next screen.
Click 'Next'.
Step 4. Acceptable Adverts
All personal Ad/s are vetted by a human before being accepted onto our site.
To ensure your personal Ad/s are approved, please use our guidelines, seen in
the blue box, of what is not acceptable and click 'Next'.
Steps 5/6/7. Your Someone Special/Social/Sports Advert
1) Your Title? This is the first thing apart from your photograph someone will
see, it is important this catches the searchers eye.
Note: All CAPITAL LETTERS is the equivalent to YELLING at someone on
the Internet. Avoid using all CAPITAL LETTERS.
2) In the first box enter your personal Ad text and tell people who you are
and your interests. (450 characters approximately 5 lines)
3) In the second box describe the type of person you would like to meet. (450
characters approximately 5 lines)
Note: Check your personal Ad reads correctly. Amend any spelling errors.
Tip: People will judge you by your written Ad.
4) If you have selected to place more than one persoal ad click 'Next'
to continue as above.
Tip: Not sure what to say in your personal Ad? You will see a link :
'Don't know what to say in your Advert?' found at the top of your Ad box, which
will help guide you.
Step 8. Upload Your Photo
We recommend you upload a photo, many members only search profiles with photos.
To increase your popularity, read the information provided, scroll down the
page, where you will find the option to upload your photo to your profile. You
can if you prefer upload your photo at a latter time by going to 'My Profile
Options'. To continue with completing your profile, click the 'Next'
button.
Note: If you have missed adding any text to your personal Ad/s you will
be taken back to that screen first, you will not lose any of your information.
Complete the required information and click 'Next'. And again until you
reach 'Save Profile'.
Step 9. Save Profile
IMPORTANT: Is your email address correct?
If your email address is incorrect click the 'Back' button to amend.
Note: None of your entered information will be lost. After amending,
click the 'Next' button until you reach 'Save Profile' Check one more time that
your email address is correct and click 'Save Now'.
Step 10. Registration Details Saved - Confirmation
Required
1) To prevent hoaxers from registering on NewFriends4U we ask that you confirm
your email address by clicking on the activation link found in our automated
email sent to your registered email address. If you haven't received it, wait
a minute or two.
2) Click the link provided received in our email and this will confirm your
email address and registration.
3) Confirmation of your email address and registration will be seen at the top
of your internet screen and we will receive your profile for vetting and accepting
onto our site, which may take up to 24 hours.
Note: If you have not received our validation email after 24 hours the
address your registered with may have been invalid or there is a delay with
your email provider receiving our mail. If you do not received our email after
24 hours please contact us with the email address you registered with and we
will try to locate your registration and amend your email address if incorrect.
