Hi, My Name is Ian, I am 61 years old and semi-retired, I live on my own, and not to mince words I am feeling quite lonely. This is the first time I have ever tried anything like this so haven't really got a clue what to write, but here goes anyway what have I got to lose. I like the things in life that you can't really put a price on, like someone to hug, or share the events of your day with. A walk in the rain with someone to talk to, is, I feel, better than sitting in the sun on your own. People tell me I have a good sense of humour, and I like to laugh a lot, not that I have done a lot of that lately. Please don't think that I am cynical because I am definitely one hundred per cent NOT, But you could say that after lessons hard learned, that I am A little more cautious these days. I do enjoy the more normal side of life in equal measures, such as days out, country pubs, the theatre, etc. I am a non smoker, don't have any pets apart from some plastic goldfish, although I quite like cats and kids. I would love to meet a genuine, honest lady to share some quality time with, Initially with the emphasis on friendship rather than relationship, if things progress well thats fine, if not, well c'est la vie at least I've made a new friend.
