Russian Canadian in Finland
I'm a Russian Canadian and now live Tampere, Finland.
I have worked mainly as a translator, thought I have also tried several other professions. In 1998, after losing work and savings due to an economic crisis in Russia, I decided to emigrate.
First I stayed in Sweden and cared for the handicapped. It was not possible to settle down in there, so in 2003 I immigrated to Canada.
I lived in Québec City. There I learned French and worked as a technical translator. In general, life in Québec was good, but not very interesting.
In 2007, after getting the Canadian citizenship, I moved to Finland. Now I am studying Finnish and looking for a job.
My interests centre on languages, cultures, politics and environment.
I'd like to meet a kind, attractive, non-smoking lady, who lives not far from me (in Europe).
