I miss my friends that I left back in Ontario, but now it's time to start anew.
I've arrived in Edmonton to pursue further education at U of A (I earned my B.Sc. in Ontario). I really enjoy participating in all sorts of sports and outdoors activities, along with the regular watching movies and going out on the town. I have a good head on my shoulers and act in a responsible manner. However, I like to let loose and joke around with friends.
I would like to meet other people around my age who can act mature when needed, but also know how to let their hair down. I'd prefer to mingle with other post-secondary students, or those who have recently finished their post-secondary education. Upstanding, honest, social, considerate, responsible, and the ability to joke around are some key qualities that I tend to seek in friends.
Who wants to play catch or go ice skating? (more options available!)
I enjoy skating, rollerblading, biking, swimming, tossing a frisbee, playing softball, and volleyball (beach preferred). In fact, I'd enjoy playing any sport or getting involved in any activity as long as it's in a non-competitive/fun environment. I have no reason to add more stress to my life...I am seeking FUN! That's not to say that I can't bring a competitive edge to things...although it's likely to be playful competition! I can laugh at myself when I screw up....can you laugh at yourself when you do the same? If so, we'd probably do well together!
I would like to meet someone who shares the views I mentioned above...or at least thinks that we'd get along well :)
