Hi Maggs
I enjoyed your post. It took courage. And now I'm going to have to ..come out too. I think about naked women all the time. I look for the company of women and abhor the company of my fellow man. I guess that pretty much makes me a lesbian?
If you throw in my desire to look through lingerie catalogues (but not wear it!) then that confirms it too. I am definitely an 'L'. How will I break it to my Mother? Adrian x |

Yep - Well said Claire!
I'm with you all the way with what you said...couldn't of put it better myself!
Oh & in answer to the initial discussion: I'm not against Lesbians/Gay's at all, in fact a few of my friends over the years have been Gay.
"Live as you want to Live" ..I say. |

BTW it's spelt 'lesbians' (I hate it when ppl spell things wrong!). I'm bisexual (sort of!) but prefer men although I don't know why with my track record in relationships :-)
Also, I don't think there is too much sex on t.v. as long as it's shown after the watershed then what's the problem ?? The problem in this country is that sex is mainly frowned upon, maybe that's why there are too many teenage pregnancies ?? In general ppl should be more open.
I hate censorship. I am old enough to decide what I want to watch. As long as it's not hurting anyone else (sex with children or animals-yuk).

it is an organicly grown cucumber from my allotment. It went very nicely in a salad a while ago and I only use that pic, coz it is the most recent one I like!
The world may need a balance of views - but when some people are suggesting that other people should be treated as second class citizens, then it is important that someone stands up and says "these are not values I share!"
It is only a short step from saying gay people should not be allowed to show affection on TV to saying that other types of people should have their liberty curtailed, and from that it is a short step to the gas chamber and concentration camps - and we have all seen what happens next.....
Everyone has the right to be seen and heard - even the haters - but, if people don't fight the hatred, then worse things happen! |

Strange that it is a man who is standing up against bigotry, censorship, oppression and hatred of people who are different.....
I guess, I am glad that I am a man, if that is the alternative..... |

In my opinion it is a parents resonsibilty to love, educate, nurture and protect each and every child into aduldhood. That does not mean exposing them to the world at large before they are ready just because it there.
It is a well known fact that children can and do make choices for themselves from a very early age - and that includes boys playing with cars/guns or girls dolls.
If Iains views are right then would it not follow that we would have less wars if boys weren't allowed to play with guns, less violence against women if there were equal rights for both sexes. This IS a mans world and men know it and use it to their advantage |
