hi leif,many years ago,at about the dawn of time,i used to go fishing.my friends and i had two favourite places to go,one of them was a lake near here at a place called rothwell,it contained roach and perch and little else,the other was the river wharf at tadcaster,about 10 miles from here, on a stretch named 'britannia' after a local pub,but its many years since i picked up a rod.one of my daghters and her other half are fishing mad and go to a local lake called the 'polo',i leave you to guess its shape,where they catch pleanty of big carp.i have been tempted to take the sport up again but never quite got around to it.my wife and i live in a village about 10 miles to the south east of leeds,west yorkshire,as do my two grown up daughters with their families.i am a decorator and tiler by trade and work around leeds,wakefield,bradford and up into north yorkshire some times,with deisel hitting 6 uk pounds a gallon its getting expensive to work very far from home,customers do not like prices being loaded to take travel into account...hope you slept well....by for now,bob
Interest and Locality? Alright, I just want to let you know firsthand that I just got back from fishing and it's now 2:21 am when I started it at 7:30 am. I also happen to have a few beers along the way so I'm definitely feeling a bit goofy.
My interest would have to go along the line of fishing and business. I'd like to combine the two if it's possible which it is. I'm the type that does things than rather sit around and talk about it. So, you're always have to be on the run, no matter what because I'm almost never tireless from doing something. My energy level is way up there with the squirrel on java.
Locality? Born and raised in the State of Texas.
However, I'm always interested in traveling to new spots, meet new people and have a great time. Money isn't the issue.
(yawn) I should get some sleep and in case you want to know? I only caught three fishes and the other two got away. Catch and Release moment.
