I used to work as a civil servant, sadly my child became unwell with a long term health condition so I took to self employment to keep working and maintain my sanity. I also volunteer my time to raise funds for charity and have been asked to become a public speaker (outside my comfort zone) and course deliverer. I love going for coffee, museums, walks in the park, picnics and strolls along the beach hand in hand. I am a romantic at heart and love hand holding, hugs however please don't place me on a pedestal. I am a little afraid of heights. I rarely drink, but enjoy sitting in a quiet pub chatting. I love concerts, reading, cinema, meeting new people and laughing at silly jokes and adverts. I sing badly and sighing loudly won?t make me stop. I have been a single mum for 13 years and have become very independent due to this. I am unused to asking for help, and have learned to become quite good at budgeting and making things stretch out. I am not a materialistic person, but do like to have a small bit of security. I cook a mean steak pie, and pot of soup. My stovies are fab! My ideal man would be one who can hold my hand in public, surprise me with notes or flowers and grab me into a cuddle for no reason.
